The Circuit 2 Machu Picchu ticket is the most popular option for exploring the entire Inca citadel. If you’re looking for a classic tour covering the main archaeological sites, this ticket is ideal for your visit.
The circuit begins with a walk from the entrance gate to the Guardian House, offering the opportunity to explore the entire citadel. You’ll then pass through key landmarks such as the Machu Picchu Gate, the Inca Quarry, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sacred Rock, the Llacta Sector, the Temple of the Condor, and the Andean terraces of Machu Picchu. Additionally, the ticket grants access to the Intihuatana, one of the most significant ceremonial sites of the Inca civilization.
However, access to the Intihuatana and the Temple of the Condor is only permitted during the following hours: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., ensuring a more organized and less crowded experience. One thousand one hundred forty-four tickets are available each day during the low tourist season, and one thousand five hundred are available during the peak tourist season. These Machu Picchu tickets are distributed across six different time slots.
