Boletoperu.pe – Inca Trail Machu

This document sets forth the terms, conditions, and cancellation policies applicable to all services booked through boletoperu.pe, operated by Inca Trail Machu. By completing a reservation and making a payment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the conditions outlined below.

1. Reservation & Payment Conditions

All reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Services are confirmed only after receiving the required pre-payment or full payment, depending on the product.
Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated and may be subject to change until the booking is confirmed.
Once payment is made, the booking is considered confirmed and binding.

2. Personal Information Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate personal information, including full name, passport number, nationality, and date of birth.
Any discrepancy between the booking details and the official passport may result in denied entry to Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail.
No refunds will be issued for errors provided by the client.

Booking Terms & Refund Policy

Machu Picchu Entrance Tickets

• Machu Picchu entrance tickets are issued under strict government regulations.
• All Machu Picchu entrance tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-changeable.
• Once booked, it is not possible to modify:
  1. Visitor’s name
  2. Passport number
  3. Travel date
  4. Entry circuit or schedule
• This regulation is enforced by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, and no exceptions are allowed.
• In the event of cancellation, no-show, or itinerary changes by the client, 100% of the ticket cost is forfeited.

Machu Picchu Bus Tickets

• Bus tickets between Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu are non-refundable and non-changeable.
• Once issued, they cannot be canceled, rescheduled, or transferred.
• No refunds apply for unused bus tickets or missed departures.

Machu Picchu Train Tickets

Train tickets are governed by the policies of the railway companies (PeruRail or Inca Rail). Refund eligibility depends on the cancellation date:

Train Ticket Cancellation Schedule:

• 07–05 months prior to travel: Refund with 10% cancellation penalty
• 04–03 months prior to travel: Refund with 30% cancellation penalty
• 02 months prior to travel: Refund with 50% cancellation penalty
• 01 month or less before travel date: Non-refundable

Important Train Conditions:

• Train tickets are non-transferable and issued with passenger names.
• Refunds apply only to the train ticket value and exclude service fees.
• Train schedule changes by the railway company are outside the responsibility of boletoperu.pe.

Machu Picchu Tours & Alternative Treks (Excluding Inca Trail)

The following cancellation policy applies to Machu Picchu tours and trekking routes other than the Inca Trail:

Tour & Trek Cancellation Policy:

• 10–07 months prior to departure: Refund with 50% penalty of the total pre-payment
• 06–03 months prior to departure: Refund with 70% penalty
• 02–01 months prior to departure: Refund with 80% penalty
• 20 days to 01 day before departure: No refund

Additional Conditions:

• Pre-payments cover operational costs such as permits, guides, hotels, transportation, and logistics.
• Partial refunds do not apply to unused services during the tour.

Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (Strict Policy)

• All Inca Trail reservations are strictly non-refundable.
• The total pre-payment is immediately used to secure:The official Inca Trail permitThe Machu Picchu entrance ticket
• These permits are issued by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and are non-transferable, non-changeable, and non-refundable.
• Once confirmed, names, passport numbers, and dates cannot be modified.
• In case of cancellation for any reason (personal, medical, flight issues, weather, or force majeure), no refund will be granted.

Force Majeure & Uncontrollable Events

Boletoperu.pe is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by:

• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Social unrest or strikes
• Pandemics or health emergencies

In such cases, refunds depend on third-party suppliers and government authorities and are not guaranteed.

No-Show & Late Arrival Policy

• No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or failure to join the service on the scheduled date and time.
• Missed services due to transportation delays or personal reasons are the client’s responsibility.

Refund Processing

• Approved refunds are processed within 15–30 business days.
• Bank fees, transaction charges, and administrative costs are non-refundable.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

• Trip cancellations
• Medical emergencies
• Travel delays
• Non-refundable services

Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service through boletoperu.pe, the client confirms acceptance of all booking conditions and cancellation policies stated above.
