Ministry of Culture Encourages Early Planning for 2024 Visits to Peru’s Cultural Sites in tuboleto.cultura.pe
In 2024, the Ministry of Culture invites both national and foreign citizens to plan their visits to Peru’s diverse archaeological sites and museums by purchasing tickets on the virtual platform tuboleto.cultura.pe.
Explore iconic destinations like Chan Chan in Trujillo, Kuélap in Amazonas, the Nazca Lines, the Rescue Room in Cajamarca, and the Chavín National Museum in Áncash, among others.
Recently added to the platform is the National Museum of Chavín in Áncash, the only one of its kind in the mountains. Designed to evoke the ambiance of the Chavín Archaeological Monument (declared a UNESCO Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 1985), the museum showcases finely carved stone sculptures, including the famous nail heads, the Tello obelisk, and tombstones featuring representations of mythological beings.
The virtual platform aims to facilitate the acquisition of entry tickets to various archaeological sites and museums managed by the Ministry of Culture. This allows national and foreign visitors to plan their trips in advance, promoting organized, responsible, and respectful tourism of Peru’s cultural heritage.
The user-friendly tuboleto.cultura.pe platform simplifies the ticket purchasing process. Visitors can register, select their preferred date and time, and choose the number of tickets needed, offering flexibility with 24/7 service. Payment options include major credit and debit card brands, as well as digital wallets such as Yape and Plin.
This initiative not only minimizes waiting times and optimizes the purchasing process but also positions Peru as a cultural destination. The Ministry of Culture aims to have a unified system for precise data, facilitating better decision-making and effective public policies.
By entering the digital platform, visitors can secure tickets in a safe and orderly manner. Additional archaeological sites and museums will be progressively added to the platform, enhancing the cultural exploration experience.
