The Ministry of Culture has successfully resolved technical issues, and the official sale of Machu Picchu tickets for the entire year 2024 commences today, January 13.
The Ministry of Culture assures that despite previous technical challenges, ticket sales for Machu Picchu and the Inca Trails in 2024 will not be conducted through the Joinnus platform. Instead, the process will continue on their existing digital website and extranet.
How to Purchase Tickets for 2024?
Having overcome technical obstacles, the Ministry of Culture has announced that ticket sales for Machu Picchu will be open starting Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Tourists wishing to secure entrance to Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail Network can make their reservations at https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe/.

When will Joinnus Platform Sell Machu Picchu Tickets?
The Joinnus platform will commence ticket sales on January 20, offering tickets for the entire year 2024. Visitors can purchase tickets for Machu Picchu and the Inca Trails through tubeleto.cultura.pe.
It’s noteworthy that the Joinnus platform extends its services to seven other museums and archaeological sites across the country.
“The Culture sector reaffirms its decision to migrate Machu Picchu to this platform, which, with transparency and rigor, provides comprehensive information for better decision-making. The Ministry of Culture, committed to modernizing cultural space management, pledges to keep citizens informed about ongoing improvements,” stated the Ministry of Culture.
