If you have limited time to visit Cusco and want to explore the Sacred Valley as part of a day tour or as a connection to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley Tourist Ticket is perfect for you. This ticket allows you to visit the most important Inca sites in the Sacred Valley in a single day, including Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero, and Moray.
Important notes:
Most Sacred Valley tours include a professional guide, transportation, and a buffet lunch. Depending on the tour, you’ll have time to enjoy lunch in one of the Sacred Valley’s most popular towns. Please note that the Sacred Valley Tourist Ticket is not included in the cost of the tour. Below is a list of tours where you can use this ticket:
This tour includes visits to the archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. On the way back to Cusco you’ll stop in Chinchero.
This full day tour covers the entire Sacred Valley, including Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo and Pisac. Note that an additional ticket ($8 USD) is required for the Salt Mines.
This tour allows you to visit Moray with the Sacred Valley Tourist Ticket. Access to the Salt Mines (Salineras) requires an additional ticket ($8 USD).
Please note:
If you travel from Cusco to Machu Picchu via the Sacred Valley, you may miss an attraction in the Sacred Valley. However, it’s worth taking the train to Machu Picchu the next day for an early morning visit to this iconic site. Dont forget your take the original passport, if you visit Machu Picchu.
