Inti Raymi 2026 tickets are now available for travelers wishing to attend the legendary Festival of the Sun, celebrated every year on June 24 in Cusco. The main ceremony takes place at the Sacsayhuamán archaeological site.
Inti Raymi Tickets are offered in three grandstands: Orange, Red, and Green. The Orange and Red grandstands are the most popular due to their proximity to the main stage and excellent views of the ceremony.
Ticket prices vary by grandstand, and all seating is numbered and assigned by zone. Each ticket includes access only to the designated seating area. Availability is limited, so advance booking is strongly recommended.
Inti Raymi is one of the most important Inca celebrations, dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. The ceremony lasts approximately four hours and has a maximum capacity of 3,500 spectators.
To fully experience the magic of Inti Raymi, visitors must purchase an Inti Raymi ticket, which grants access to festival performances at Coricancha and Sacsayhuamán. This ticket provides an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Inca civilization and witness the profound spiritual significance of this extraordinary celebration.

At 1:45 p.m., the Sinchi, the great general, enters the ceremonial platform (usnu), which is built in the center of the Sacsayhuamán esplanade. This marks the beginning of the central ceremony of the Inca festival, Inti Raymi. He summons the representatives of the four Suyos, or regions of the ancient empire. They appear from their places of origin, accompanied by music and traditional dances. Once the vast plain is fully occupied, the ñustas, aqllas, royal entourage, Qoya, and finally the Inca, carried on his magnificent litter, make their grand entrance to the rhythm of cadenced music.
After greeting the Sun, the cast performs a sacred hymn dedicated to the Sun, which they later chant with deep emotion. Immediately afterward, each regional leader (Suyo)—Qollasuyo, Antisuyo, Chinchaysuyo, and Kontisuyo—delivers a report and presents their offerings. The most solemn part of the ceremony follows, with the performance of rites accompanied by traditional dances interpreted by delegations from the four regions of the vast empire.
The ritual ceremony concludes with a great outburst of joy and popular celebration where tourists mingle with performers. This preserves a unique and unforgettable experience: taking part in the Festival of the Sun in the heart of the Inca Empire.
